There are many versions of wireless door and gate entry systems in the market place however TelePorter's is different from its competitors by providing unique connectivity and functions.

Wireless technology can often be unreliable this is because it uses a radio frequency between the door phone and the dedicated handset which you invariably need to have to answer the door intercom, this technology although there is often a defined limit in distance between the door entry panel and the handset is rarely achieved as the frequency signal can be affected by such issues as buildings between the handset and entry panel weakening the signal or even differing weather conditions on a day to day basis.

TelePorter's solution is not affected by any of these issues as we use GSM / Mobile phone technology to create the wireless link, firstly think of the GSM unit as a mobile telephone which you would then put either a contract or a Pay As You Go Sim card into, this enables a completely wireless installation for either your Door or Gate Entry system. When your visitor arrives they push the button on the TeleDor2N which then in turn dials a pre-programmed number silently, for instance your home telephone number, you can then answer the call as normal vet the visitor and then type in your unique unlock code via your telephone keypad to let them in, if you are unavailable then a 2nd number can be called e.g. a mobile and wherever you are in the world you could let your visitor in if desired.

This technology achieves 2 great benefits firstly the cost of implementation against a traditional wireless or hardwired system is drastically reduced as there are no long cables to lay in a driveway or to install to each apartment and secondly the installer can ensure a speedy installation and easy ongoing maintenance as you can call back into the unit to either reprogram a button or change a code without attending site.

Our Door Entry Panels are now available with 3 or 6 Direct Call Buttons with or without a numerical, touch-sensitive keypad. If 6 Buttons aren't enough, you can use our Expansion Units to expand up to 54 Buttons! All of our TelePorter Door Entry Panels can connect to either a BT (or equivalent) landline, Telephone system (PABX), an IP System or wirelessly using our unique GSM (Mobile phone) technology. Keypads can be used for coded entry and/or short dial and all units derive their power from the telephone line. An optional 12V power supply can be used to illuminate the unit.

All of the Door Entry Panels come ready with the option to add a Colour/Mono Infra-red Plug & Go Camera Module.

We also offer 7" LCD TV Monitors to view the camera image or alternatively, an MPEG4/LAN Converter allows you to connect the Camera to a data ethernet network so you can view the camera image on a computer screen.

The TeleDor-ID door entry range combines robustness with a stylish, understated design and amazing value for money. Connection is via a BT (or equivalent) line or analogue extension port and it is compatible with almost all makes of PBX and a wide variety of electronic locks.

Configuring the TeleDor-ID Door Entry Panel is easy using our free Windows software package and programming can even be carried out remotely using a BT (or equivalent) line or mobile telephone. Teleporter is a new concept in Door Entry Systems, it enables a system to be installed without the necessity of costly, dedicated cabling and separate reply telephones or monitoring.

It is designed to meet the high specification of many local Authorities and Technical Consulting Engineers. The cost of installation and maintenance is considerably less than the conventional Digital Door Entry Systems on the market today.

Easy to install - Access to the flats is not required, no separate reply telephones, no unsightly cable to run. Installation completed in just over a day.

Low Running Costs - Per second billing available. The ongoing charges can be equally divided between the total number of Residents as part of the maintenance fee.

Remote Control - When the call is answered, the door can be opened by pressing digits on the Resident's own telephone keypad.

*Anti-Tamper Alarm - Whenever an attempt is made to remove the Entrance Panel by an unauthorised person an alarm is triggered. It operates in a similar way to the Door Open Alarm Function.

Via Mobile Phone - In addition, by using the divert service provided by the telephone companies, the call can be diverted to anywhere in the World and the door released.

PIN Access - Each resident can have their own PIN access code if required, to allow them into the building. Each tradesperson can also have a separate PIN.

TelePorter can provide an entrance panel to convert your old door entry system with push buttons, to a new 'state of the art' digital panel with display showing flat number, scrolling of flats and with or without colour video, all without changing the reply telephones in the flats

All your old system needs, is to be 5 wires to the handsets and buzzer calling, which can work to most handsets

The potential is enormous, with the number of door entry systems already installed.

Only access is required to the flats to test the system once installed and no disruption to the decorations in the flats.

Best of all the installation cost is minimal, compared to replacing the whole door entry system.

Instead of replacing the whole system because the panel is obsolete, change the panel for a new

Bring the Door Bell into the 21st Century and speak to your visitors from your own Telephone, Mobile or any other off-site Telephone

When a visitor presses the push button on the entrance panel, the standard telephone will ring just two or three times. The door call can then be answered from any telephone in the house or flat. Should the Resident be next door with their cordless telephone, or in the garden, they can still speak to the visitor, provided they are within the range of the base station. Alternatively, with keying a simple code into the telephone, the Dorfone 2000TP & 3000TP CAN CALL A Pre-PROGRAMMED MOBILE or OFF-SITE TELEPHONE. With a day/night colour camera installed in the Dorfone 3000TP, the Resident can click to a spare channel on their TV to view the visitor at the front door. If a lock release is fitted, it can be operated by a key press from the telephone. Whereas the Dorfone 2000TP is manufactured in cast anodised aluminum, the Dorfone 3000TP comes in vandal resistant stainless steel or polished brass.

Should the Resident be speaking on the telephone when a visitor calls, the Resident will hear a ding dong in the earpiece. He can then put the telephone call on hold, and speak to the visitor. Should the Resident be speaking to the visitor at the front door when a telephone call comes in, a low volume ring is heard in the earpiece. He can then clear the front door call and answer the telephone call.

The system is BABT approved for connection to the telephone network.
